West Point Crab Carnival
The West Point Crab Carnival is an annual festival celebrating the local Blue Crab. On October 5th and 6th, 2007, Bank of Essex proudly sponsored the children's play area and gave away two brand new bicycles. Join us in October of 2008 at the 26th Annual West Point Crab Carnival.

Hanover Tomato Festival
It's widely known that the only tomatoes worth eating come from Hanover County, Virginia. It's no wonder that the famous Hanover tomatoes have their very own festival. Come on out to Pole Green Park in July to see hundreds of craft and vendor booths, eat wonderful food and hear some good old fashioned bluegrass. Visit the Bank of Essex booth to cool off with an ice pop and an "I'm a fan of Bank of Essex" tomato fan.
